About me
I'm a writer with a passion for helping people and organizations tell their stories authentically and with impact.
My journey began at the University of Mississippi, where I studied English and Creative Writing. During my time there, I was part of the small team that produced Deeper South Magazine, a depth report that earned the Society of Professional Journalists' highest honor: "Best Student Magazine – National."
Since then, I've collaborated with CEOs, editors, and thought leaders to craft compelling narratives, including thought leadership essays and ghostwritten works. I worked as a contributing writer for Delta Magazine, focusing on food and travel stories, and during medical school edited The Murmur, an institutional publication that I transformed into a lifestyle and medical monthly.
Beyond writing, I've had the privilege of composing and delivering commencement addresses at high schools and medical schools, experiences that have deepened my appreciation for the power of storytelling in marking life's significant moments.
